All four segments of this title were found and returned to their original format, recreating Radharc’s second programme for Telefís Éireann. Some popular clips may already be familiar to Irish viewers through more recent archive-based TV shows, but as a complete unit this programme has not been been aired for decades.

The New Ritual Fr Joseph Dunn begins in studio presenting an introduction to modernising changes in the Catholic Sacraments. The Liturgical Movement and use of English in the Mass is discussed by Dr McGarry of Maynooth.

Frederick William Faber Fr Des Forristal then presents a biographical piece on the life of the author and composer of many hymns including procession favourite ‘Faith of our Fathers’.

Irish College, Ranafast An Irish language piece [no sub-titles] which illustrates the studies and pastimes of young people attending Coláiste Bhríde Summer School and immersed in the culture and traditions of the Donegal Gaeltacht [Irish-speaking area]. Radharc’s lens captures all the sunny nostalgia of a vintage holiday; girls in billowing Summer frocks troop across the bogs to the ice-cream shop, teens gather fascinated around their elders, and the Céilí dancehall is full to the rafters.

Glenties Tidy Town Staying in Donegal, Fr Peter Lemass wraps up the programme with an investigation into the unparalleled success of three-time National ‘Tidy Towns’ winners, Glenties.
