Anyone passing through Abbeyfeale, on the road to Kerry can’t help but notice the fine bronze statue in the main square. It was built in honour of one of the great leaders of the Land War, Fr. Casey, the parish priest. This film was made in the early 1960s and includes interviews with elderly people who remembered the late stages of the land war and the vivid stories regaled by their parents and elders.
