This film explores the changing local Funeral customs in Cork in 1968. It features some interesting stories about the history of the graveyards at Matehy and Curraghkippane. When a British soldier who had shot a Catholic priest was himself buried in the Curragh cemetery, the grave moved overnight from Loughane Blarney to its present location – as if in protest.
